Dig is an album by Miles Davis on Prestige Records, catalogue number 7012. It features tracks from a 1951 session at Apex Studios, remastered in 1956 by Rudy Van Gelder. Initially released in the twelve-inch format in 1956, Dig was later reissued as a CD album with additional tracks. After inaugurating the school of cool jazz with the Birth of the Cool recording sessions in 1949 and 1950, Davis almost immediately turned away from that sound in the early 1950s, to which this recording attests. Dig was also the jazz recording debut of saxophonist Jackie McLean.

Reading music is a primo-valuable skill, as it will give you the confidence to play a greater selection of music. It also can help you to comprehend basic chords should you go on to getting an online keyboard study course or perhaps a keyboard educator. Practice everyday so you’ll be able to study off of what you rehearsed the previous day.
