Simple Plan

Simple Plan is a french canadian pop punk group from Montral, Qubec The group has received no line up changes since its start in 1999. Members contain Pierre Bouvier (direct vocals), Jeff Stinco (lead guitar), Sbastien Lefebvre (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), David Desrosiers (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Chuck Comeau (drums and percussion). They have released four studio albums: No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls (2002), Still Not Getting Any… (2004), Simple Plan (2008) and Get Your Heart On! (2011) with a fifth in the works anticipated in 2014; as well as 2 extensively promoted live albums: Live in Japan 2002 (2003) and MTV Hard Rock Live (2005).

They done in the Vans Warped Tour every year from 1999–2005 and in 2011. The group also performed at the 2010 Winter Olympics closing service , along with The X-Factor Australia In December 2012, they performed at Mood Indigo , the school festival of IIT Bombay in Mumbai, India In 2004, the group participated in the film New York Moment , starring the Olsen twins , mary kate and Ashley.

Simple Plan is firmly linked from What is New, Scooby Doo? They execute the theme music (composed by Wealthy Dickerson), and appeared as themselves in the instalmentSimple Plan along with the Imperceptible Madman;. 2 of their tunes appeared in pursuit scenes: I had Do Something in the instalmentIt is Suggest, It is Green, It’s the Secret Machine;, and You Don’t Mean Something inSimple Plan along with the Imperceptible Madman;. Additionally, they brought to the theatrical film Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed History.

The source of the group’s name is vague. Group members have offered various answers, including the group was their straightforward strategy to stop from working at McDonald’s , or alternative fast foods restaurant chains. Yet, the name might be produced from the 1998 movie and novel of exactly the same name. 200203: No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls.

In 2002, Simple Plan launched their debut studio album, No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls which resulted in the following singles: I am Simply a Child, I had Do Something, Addicted, and Perfect. Simple Plan is noticed as stating that these were aiming in a pure pop punk record. The complete name of the CD repeats the well-known tag line for the game of rugby ,No pads, no helmets, only balls.;
