One Chance, an Ep&B-Group of Chicago consists of brothers Jon Gordon (cofounder) and MichaelMike; Gordon (co founder), Rob Brent (member), and Courtney Vantrease (member), signed to J Records after being found by Grammy-award winning artist Usher.
Usher found 1 Chance within a stay showcase, and promptly formed a gathering for the boy-band to execute for audio superstar, Clive Davis, Creator of J Records; who signed them at that moment. In 2006, the group released their first single,Appear at Her;, which peaked at #53 on the U.S Billboard Hot R&B/ Hip Hop Chart. In 2008, their 2nd single entitled, “U Cannot” ft. Usher, rapidly scaled the U.S Billboard Ep&B Tunes Graph to #73. Initially a quintet, the group’s introduction was to the 2005 soundtrack for In the Combine , using the tunes That is My Term and Could This Be Love. featuring former group member, Terrell Jones, Jr., who might be observed in its movies. Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Chart.
Initially slated for launch in late 2006, their debut record, Personal , was frequently pushed straight back and finally shelved; due to the ever changing executive staff at J Records. One Chance afterwards requested to be published from US Records and J Records in 2008.
In June 2009 the group signed to artist TPain’s Nappy Boy Enjoyment; they mostly focused on composing and sung producing for TPain. On September 2 3, 2010, 1 Chance released their solitary,Sexin’ on You;, from their mix-tape, Ain’t No Space For Talkin’, and co-composed TPain’s solitaryReverse-Cowgirl;.
