Elliott Yamin (came to life July 20, 1978) is an American vocalist known for his hit song Wait for You and setting third on the fifth period of American Idol.
His self titled record , introduced March 20, 2007, debuted at number-one on the Billboard Independent Albums chart and at number-three in the Billboard 200 The record was certified gold in america in Oct 2007. Retitled Wait for You , the record premiered in Japan in-may 2008 and licensed gold because state in September 2008.
Yamin additionally released two Xmas collections: Seems of the Growing season: The Elliott Yamin Holiday Collection in Oct 2007 and My Form of Vacation in October 2008.
Yamin’s 2nd record, titled Battle for Love , premiered on May 5, 2009. The record’s first single, Battle for Love, premiered on AOL Songs on February 1 3, 2009.

Yamin came to be in La, Ca , to papa Shaul Yamin, an Israeli Jew of Iraqi Jewish origin, and mum Claudette Goldberg Yamin (d. March 3-1, 2008, age 65), a Jewish American of Ashkenazi origin and former expert vocalist known for her fervent spirit and for getting the Gold Idol for Proudest Family Second Award from Ryan Seacrest throughout her son’s American Idol contest. His household relocated to Richmond, Va when Yamin was 1 1, and his parents divorced when he was 1-4, his dad returning to La. Yamin went to college in Richmond at Tuckahoe Middle-School, and afterwards, Douglas Southall Freeman High-School. Yamin has an old half sister on his mom’s aspect, Jodi Queen, a married mom of two kids and also a smaller brother, Scott Yamin, in pharmacy college at Campbell College in Buies Creek, Nc.
