Fool’s Garden

Fools Backyard is a German musical team, formed in 1991 under the title Fool’s Garden , including vocalist Peter Freudenthaler, guitarist Volker Hinkel, bassist Thomas Mangold, keyboardist Roland Rhl and drummer Ralf Wochele. They debuted in 1991 with the eponymous record Fool’s Garden (where the group was basically formed by Freudenthaler and Hinkel with added musicians), while the appropriate first record which saw the whole group was Once in a Blue Moon (1993). A couple of years afterwards Fool’s Garden issued their third record Dish of the Day, scoring Asian and European graph reach with Lemon Tree. The reissued track peaked at #26 in the UNITED KINGDOM Singles Chart in August 1996.

Go And Request Peggy For The Main Thing adopted in 1997, alongside three records in 2,000, 2003 and 2005. In 2003, three members left the group, and were replaced by Dirk Blmlein (bass player), Claus Mller (drummer) and Gabriel Holz (2nd guitarist, who subsequently left the group in 2007), along with the complete name of the group switched to Fools Backyard (without the apostrophe).

The group has taken the custom of covering stone tunes during live performances ( The Beatles ‘ Ticket to Trip or The Who ‘s My Era). Fools Backyard’s curiosity in British audio is so that cover songs of The Beatles’s tunes Cry-Baby Cry and & Martha My Dear; appeared on their studio albums.
